What determines the price of a photo shoot in Da Nang and Hoi An?
The basic cost in Da Danang is calculated based on the photographer’s working time and the number of locations. The most affordable filming is 1 hour in one area: My Khe beach at dawn, the embankment at the Dragon Bridge, the old streets of Hoi An or shots near the Thu Bon River. When transfers are added to the route, the price rises, because it already includes not only filming, but also travel time, waiting for light and changing points.
The season greatly influences the outcome. February to August is dry in Da Nang, and the best months for photo sessions are March, April and May: less fog, more stable light, sunsets around 5:45 pm and less risk of rain drift. If you are planning to film on the Son Tra Peninsula, Marble Mountains, Ba Na Hills or Hai Van Pass, we separately consider transport and allow more travel time.

Photo shoot packages: prices and what is included
Below are three basic packages with which the calculation usually begins. These are not “naked hours”, but working formats for filming in Da Nang and Hoi An: with a normal amount of time for travel, changing locations and selecting the best light. All prices are in US dollars, without hidden surcharges within the city.
If you need a more accurate calculation, we calculate the estimate for your route: for example, My Khe beach at dawn + Hoi An in the evening, or Marble Mountains + An Bang + old town. For couples, individual shooting and love stories, 1–2 hours is usually enough. For content, multiple looks, or a trip to Ba Na Hills, it’s better to take the extended package.
Three examples of estimates: how much it actually costs
To make it easier to navigate, below are three typical estimates. They do not show “advertising from”, but real budgets that clients most often request. Depending on the time of year and the route, the amount may change, but the order of the numbers remains exactly the same.
Example 1 - short shoot on My Khe beach: 1 hour of photographer’s work, 1 location, 25–35 finished photos after basic color correction. If the shooting takes place at dawn, most often there is no additional charge, because the light at this time is the softest. If you need an early departure from a hotel outside the city, a transfer is added separately.
Example 2 - walk around Hoi An: 2 hours, old town + Thu Bon River, 2 images, 50–70 photos. Here, the budget often includes paid entrance to certain areas, parking and movement around the center of the old city. Example 3 - full day: Marble Mountains in the morning, Hoi An at sunset, makeup artist, transfer, assistance with styling. This is already a full day of shooting, where coordination of the route and timing for sunset around 17:45 are important.

What additional payments are there and when are they needed?
The most common mistake is to look only at the price per hour and not take into account the logistics. For example, Ba Na Hills is located higher and requires more time to climb, and at Haivan Pass it is better to provide separate transport and time reserve. The same applies to Hue: this is no longer a short city shoot, but a whole day trip.
We record additional payments in the estimate in advance so that you can see the final amount before booking. For central locations in Da Nang and Hoi An, the cost usually remains in the basic package, but the stylist, clothing rental, paid entrances and long-distance travel are considered separately. This approach is convenient because you can put together a package to fit your budget without unnecessary options.
