Venues by area: My Khe, Non Nuoc, An Bang and Old Hoi An
My Khe beach is convenient if living urban infrastructure is important to you: restaurants, services, quick transfers and many accommodation options for guests are nearby. This is a good choice for events where part of the program takes place in the city and part by the sea.
Non Nuoc is often chosen for its quieter beach rhythm and access to large resorts and villas. It is convenient to do ceremonies here on the lawn overlooking the sea, and nearby are the Marble Mountains - a strong point for photo sessions on the same day.
An Bang and old Hoi An are a more atmospheric scenario. If you want to combine an event with strolling the narrow streets, dining by the river and taking sunset photos, Hoi An beats Da Nang. The old city is 10–20 minutes from many sites, and it’s easy to organize a separate evening trip to the Thu Bon River.
What to look for in the contract and estimate
The main mistake is to compare only the cost of renting a site. In reality, the final check consists of catering, lighting, sound, furniture, decor, transfer and overtime payment if the holiday goes beyond the base time. On the beach, a separate line may include wind protection and a wet plan in case of rain.
Also, clarify in advance what exactly is included in the package: how many hours the area is available, whether you can bring your own alcohol, whether there is a corkage fee, who is responsible for installation, and how the number of people is calculated for banquet and buffet seating. For resorts in Da Nang and Hoi An, these conditions differ even in neighboring properties.
For a destination wedding, we also recommend checking the season. The dry period in Central Vietnam usually lasts from February to August, and the best months for filming and events are March, April and May. At this time there is less risk of rain, the sea is calmer, and the light at sunset is softer.
Why Da Danang helps with villas and resorts
We select venues not by a pretty picture, but by the purpose of the event: how many guests will arrive, whether a children's block is needed, what format of dinner you want, and where the light will be best at the right time. A wedding on the beach and an intimate dinner in a villa require different scenarios, even if both venues are in the same area.
In Da Nang and Hoi An, local expertise is important: where on a particular day the wind is stronger, which facility can actually host a banquet for 60 people, where it is more convenient to set up a stage, and which venues work best during the season with high humidity. We check this in advance and offer only those options that fit your format, and not just your budget.
If you need a combined route, you can put together a program like this: welcome dinner in Da Nang, a ceremony at Non Nuoc Beach or in Hoi An, a photo session at the Golden Bridge on Ba Na Hills the next day, and for a more eventful program add the Marble Mountains, the Son Tra Peninsula or a trip to Hue via the Hai Van Pass.
